The Dr. Sonja Sutherland Radio Show – Embracing the Single Life

 In Uncategorized

Last Thursday, I had the privilege of being a guest on Dr. Sonja Sutherland’s weekly radio show co-hosted by Juan Edgar, MAMFT. The show is in the 7PM Thursday slot on WAEC Love860AM. You can listen live on iHeartRadio or check out previously recorded shows on Dr. Sonja’s website.  Also, if you would like to submit a question or topic for a show you can do so here.  The featured guests for the show were Katrina Wilson, MA, LPC and Renee Bryan, M.Ed, MA. Both are counselors at Legacy Changers Counseling Center and both are currently accepting new clients. Katrina and Renee discussed the need to embrace the single life and to develop an emotionally and spiritually healthy sense of self. These ideas permeate both their professional lives and their work within the community.  Please follow the link below to hear these amazing women talk about their work and about upcoming opportunities for the growth and development of the single woman at Legacy Changers. Regardless of age, it is always a good time to work toward the best you.

Taking An Inner Relationship Selfie-Embracing The Single Life

During the second half of the show, we discussed questions sent in from the audience about the right time to resume dating after divorce and how to heal after an affair. We were only able to address these questions briefly before we ran out of time, but this week we will be returning to the topic of divorce and healing for the entire hour. If you’re free, tune in at 7pm on Thursday for an hour focused on inspiring, educating, and offering hope for families like yours.
